Sunday Morning & Wednesday Evening
We have programs for children on Sunday mornings and throughout the calendar school year on Wednesday evenings.
Sunday School
Beginning at 9:30 for ages Pre-K through 5th grade. Children in our Sunday school class do studies from The Gospel Project by LifeWay.
Children in Worship
We believe that children learn the lifestyle of worship by participating and being present. We believe that children are just as valued and important to the Church body as their parents are, so we welcome them with open arms in worship! There are special opportunities for our kids throughout the year to assist in and help lead the service.
Children’s Church – After the children’s moment during worship service children ages 3-5 are dismissed upstairs to room 203 for a short lesson.
Wednesday Evenings
During the calendar school year children ages 3-5th grade rotate between Bible study, choir, and rec time. It’s a high energy – fast paced evening for kids from all schools in Whitfield Co.
Dinner is served after Wednesday evening programming for those who register online HERE.
Nursery
Christchurch offers childcare for infants-3’s in our church nursery. Our nursery is located beside the fellowship hall and our Nursery Coordinator is standing by to greet families as they arrive.
- Check in begins at 9:30am on Sundays
- Check in for Thursday's modern service is at 6pm
- We also offer childcare for different events throughout the year

Marketplace VBS
Marketplace Summers is a unique opportunity in Dalton for children to experience a marketplace of Israel around 29AD. Children engage in Old Testament lessons, and then see and experience with their hearts how Jesus is a fulfillment of what scripture promises.
Elizabeth has been on staff since the founding of CCP in 2012. She was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She attended Presbyterian College and double majored in both Religion and Christian Education. It is her great joy to have faith-filled conversations with people of all ages about God at work in the world. She began as the Director of Children's Ministry at CCP and naturally began ministering to moms and women of the Dalton community after getting settled. She loves to learn, teach, and exercise her creative muscle on projects at CCP. When she's not in the office, she's on the hunt for a good bargain, walking her old dog, or meeting people for good food and live music!
